In practice, the catholic church  always gives a significant role for the political situation in Indonesia. In other words, the catholic church lives in a state that is pluralist. It is not detached from the political story itself. Politics seemed to be a terrain of pastoral work of the catholic church.

In relation to this, it continues to be in the cross-history. The catholic church is not separated from the role of one generation to the other. The existence of the catholic church of the real existence of the struggle and the hard work of the members of the church in every generation. Here that became a major  focus is young people. Youth is the back bone at once who has the obligation to more forward the unity of the church and state of the beloved republic of Indonesia.

Young people in the catholic church are called the Catholic Youth Movement. They are hope of the future of the church itself. Seeing her live and stay in this state, then the young catholics must give a donation, which has meaning for this democratic state. Catholic youths need to prepare themselves to donate all their talents and abilities for the implementation of the politics of our nation in a good direction for the creation of a common good. Young people must speak the truth in terms of politics through elections, political discussions in the mass media.

The church is also political because it is living in the midst of politics. The church should be political on the basis of human dignity and peace, young people in the participation of the politics should uphold moral values, peace and love for justice. As the backbone of the church and the state young people must be conscious and actively involved constructively. They can’t turn a blind eye to the various problems of life in the environment, especially in living church life.

The social psychologists and social scientists highlight the problem of the readiness of the mentally immature so that the young children are easily influenced by the things that people submitted who are considered older and more clever. Mentally young people tend to be still looking for the figure that will be used as guidance in the words and way of life. However  there needs to be awareness from the young people that they are the backbone of the church and the nation. The young must fight and instill the values that build a church and this nation to a better direction. Young people must have a motivation-the motivation to uphold justice, human rights, moral values and peace. If such things are already instilled in young people, then it is inevitable that this nation will advance and the church would be rapidly growing.
